What if we took advantage of existing sea walls to produce a new source of clean energy?
Our What If came from a long process of ideation and research. We started out with many different ideas, but no substantial projects. After a long few months, we managed to narrow down our ideas until we had just a few we liked, and then from those chose one to continue on with. This was to use a chemiluminescent substance called strontium aluminate and integrate it into street lamps to save energy, however, after a few weeks of further research and many different obstacles and issues, we decided to switch gears into a different project. Hence, our what if was born, What if we took advantage of existing sea walls to produce a new source of clean energy? With our discovery of sea walls we were able to put together a brand new idea that was much more interesting and stable than our previous project. We continue to carry on with this idea and find out the answer to our What If question.
